We are excited to announce that NYJO (National Youth Jazz Orchestra) are delivering 6 sessions in partnership with the Lancashire Schools Jazz Orchestra and Lancashire Music Hub.
These sessions are for any young musicians of approx. Grade 3 + on their instrument. This is a chance for them to work with NYJO Educator Fergus Quill and the Lancashire Schools Jazz Orchestra to explore improvisation and create a brand-new group composition. Sessions are open to everyone – even if they have never played in an ensemble before, they can come along and have a go! The sessions will work towards delivering a performance on 16th May, alongside a NYJO ensemble.
The sessions will take place on the following dates from 12:45 – 15:15 at St Michael’s High School in Chorley, please come to as many as you can!
