Lancashire Music Hub presents Family Music Day!
Join our 7 different Lancashire County Bands and Orchestras for a vibrant and energetic afternoon of music for children and their families. Drop in for an hour or stay for the whole afternoon!
As well as performances, try an instrument at our instrument petting zoo, get creative and decorate your own model violin or trumpet to take home and find out more about musical opportunities for children in Lancashire.
Tickets: £5 available on the door
The atmosphere will be informal and relaxed with short “bitesize” performances throughout the afternoon by:
- Lancashire Youth Orchestra & Lancashire Schools Orchestra
- HONK! Lancashire Youth Street Band
- Lancashire Youth Concert Band
- Lancashire Youth Jazz Orchestra and Lancashire Schools Jazz Orchestra
- Lancashire Youth Brass Band
Lancashire County Ensembles bring together talented young musicians from across the county, giving them the opportunity to take their music making to an advanced level working inspiring leaders and professional musicians.
