Come and join our brand new choir for children in Chorley
Saturdays, 9:45am – 10:45am
Chorley Young Voices is a vibrant, inclusive, and joyful space where singers aged from 6 to 14 can come together and sing. Whether your child is already in a choir or wants to give it a try for the first time, everyone is welcome!
Led by singer and music teacher, Gemma Hannaford, the repertoire will include a wide range of songs – some you’ll know and some you won’t, and Gemma’s infectious energy will make sure everyone wants to join in.
They’ll have the chance to meet fellow enthusiastic young singers and be part of our growing musical community at our Saturday Centre, held at at St Michael’s High School.
Membership of the group will be £29.00 per term. This silver level membership allows pupils to attend any silver level ensemble or activity, not just Chorley Young Voices.
Gemma is also running a Ukulele band right after Chorley Young Voices. The Ukulele band will be for pupils aged 8+, and will run from 11.00 to 11.45am, also at St. Michael’s.
The Ukulele band would also be part of the Silver Subscription, so you child could take part in this for no extra cost. They would need to have a Ukulele to play on, but beginners would be welcome. Saturday morning childcare and musical learning from 10am to 11.45am – the perfect amount of time for the weekly supermarket run! Sign up here for Chorley Ukulele Band
