“Percussive Beats” Percussion group @ 4.30pm- 5pm
Our amazing Percussion ensemble, featuring a wide range of different percussion instruments, including orchestral.
Led by our fantastic Percussion teacher, Trevor Bartlett, this group is a must for all aspiring musicians to hone their Rhythm and ensemble skills.
No experience or instruments necessary!
“Preston Young Voices” Vocal group @ 4pm- 5pm
Come and join our fantastic Choir! under the direction of Julie Rayton, the choir learns songs from a wide variety of genres and members are be encouraged to help choose repertoire that they enjoy.
Suitable for KS2/3/4/5
“Ensemble for All” Orchestra @ 5pm – 5.30pm
Directed by Mark Waltho our BRAND NEW inclusive orchestra is open to all instruments and levels, from early beginners to more advanced players.
Playing a wide variety of music, learning to play with others is a vital skill for any young musician to develop and this ensemble is the ideal place for your child to start their orchestral playing journey.
“Band for All” @ 5.30 – 6.15pm
Directed by Sam French, this is an inclusive group for ALL instruments, from early beginners up to more advanced levels. With a popular music focus the group uses both written notation and learning repertoire by ear.
A great way to make music with other young people and have fun in an innovative and exciting band.
New members are always welcome to come along and visit the group. We ask that children have their own instruments (hire available) and have already started lessons, in any setting.
Ukulele group @ 5.15 – 5.45pm
Led by Richard Moss and open to complete beginners and to those who can already play, our exciting and fun Ukulele group is the ideal way to play your instrument with others. We even have instruments we can lend you if you don’t have your own!
