Music Educators: North
In the North of the county, our children and young musicians are spoilt for choice and the region hosts an array of events and opportunities for the county’s young musicians.
Covering the districts of Preston, Wyre, Fylde, Lancaster, and Morecambe, we offer a wide range of in school lessons and after school clubs, reaching thousands of pupils each week.
Here, you also will find 4 Music centres with a wide variety of different ensembles and lessons for all ages from Early years upwards.

Learning an instrument or taking part in an ensemble is great fun and we are proud of the emphasis we place on delivering high quality performance opportunities for our young musicians to showcase their talents. This year we are excited to bring you “The Big North Play” bringing together musicians from our orchestras, Music centres and local schools.
Brass at the seaside, in July will also see the return of the “Schools day” bringing together schools who have taken part in Brass whole class lessons around Fylde and Wyre.
We also have 3 Lancashire sings events for our primaries to take part in at Lytham, Lancaster and Preston, fabulous occasions bringing together hundreds of pupils from across the region to learn and perform together. These take place over Spring and Summer term. Lancashire Sings are Back for 2024-25! – Lancashire Music Hub
You can also access all the wonderful groups and activities with our partners “More Music” in Morecambe ranging from Early years sessions to the groundbreaking “Girls can” sessions. Home | More Music
